About the Job:
A2F Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst. S/he will contribute as team member or team leader to evaluations of financial institutions (banks and/or MFIs). The position is based in Bethesda, Maryland (USA) or Milan (Italy).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Carry-out or contribute to due diligence reviews and valuation exercises;
- Proactively support business development including the regular review of procurement notices by international development agencies and preparation of project/investment proposals;
- Knowledge management as well as training/coaching of junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Economics or Finance from a reputed university;
- Preferably 2 - 5 years post-graduate work experience in finance with investment bank or similar entity;
- Strong spreadsheet modeling and financial analysis skills (ideally for financial institutions);
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines as team member as well as task manager;
- Outstanding client management and interpersonal skills;
- Working knowledge of at least one foreign language would be a plus;
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in a multicultural environment;
- Current work or residency permit for either the United States or Italy.
